Repair procedures
1. |
With the washer motor connected to the reservoir tank, fill the reservoir
tank with water.
Before filling the reservoir tank with water, check the filter
for foreign material or contamination. if necessary, clean the
filter.

2. |
Remove the front bumper cover.
(Refer to Body - "Front Bumper Cover")
|
3. |
Connect positive (+) and negative (-) battery cables to terminals 3
and 2 respectively to see that the washer motor runs and water is pumped.

4. |
Check that the motor operates normally.
Replace the motor if it operates abnormally.

Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position as
shown below...
Other information:
The sensitivity of vehicle speed
when following the front vehicle to
maintain the set distance can be
adjusted. Go to the 'User Settings →
Driver Assistance → SCC Reaction
→ Fast/Normal/Slow' on the LCD
display. You may select one of the
three stages you prefer...
Removal
1.
Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-)
cable.
2.
Turn the steering wheel so that the front wheels can face straight ahead.
3.
Remove the drive airbag module...
