Repair procedures
Removal
1.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.
Remove the tailgate trim.
(Refer to Body - "Tailgate Trim")
3.
Disconnect the power tailgate latch and PCU connector (A).

Remove the power tailgate latch and PCU (A) assembly after loosening moungting nuts & bolts.

Installation
1.
Install the power tailgate latch & PCU assembly.
2.
Install the tailgate trim.
3.
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Inspection
