When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
1.
Remove the Second-row seat assembly
(Refer to Rear Seat - "Rear Seat Assembly")
2.
Loosen the mounting screw and remove the rear seat slide nob (A).

Loosen the mounting screws and remove the rear seat slide outer cover (A).

4.
Press the lock pin and separate the rear seat slide connector (A).

Remove the rear seat outer cover (A).

Loosen the mounting screw and remove the rear seat inner cover (A).

Remove the rear seat headrest (A).

Remove the rear seat armrest cover (A), loosen the mounting bolts, and remove the rear seat armrest (B).

Remove the rear seat lower protector (A).

Using a flat-tip screwdriver and remove the child anchor cover (A) and rear seat back cover mounting hog-ring (B).

Remove the rear seat back lower protector (A).

Remove the rear seat back mat assembly (A).

Using a flat-tip screwdriver and remove the rear seat back folding switch (A).

Press the lock pin and separate the rear seat back folding switch (A).

Using a flat-tip screwdriver, remove the rear seat back cover protector (A) and rear seat back panel cover (B).

Remove the rear seat ventilation duct (A).

Using a flat-tip screwdriver and remove the rear seat back cover inner protector (A).

Press the lock pin and remove the headrest guide (A).

Remove the velcro tape (A) and hog-ring clips (B) inside the rear seat back cover and remove the rear seat back cover (C).

20.
To install, reverse removal procedure.

Tighten the cover (C) evenly before assembling the hog ring clip (B) to prevent wrinkling of the cover.

Remove the second row seat assembly [LH].
(Refer to Rear Seat - "Rear Seat Assembly")
2.
Remove the rear seat lower protector (A).

Loosen the mounting screw and remove the rear back armrest cover (A).

Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the rear back armrest (A).

Press the lock pin (A) and remove the rear back armrest pad (B).

Press the lock pin and remove the rear seat headrest (A).

Loosen the mounting bolts and nuts , remove the rear back armrest braket (A).

Loosen the mounting screws and remove the rear back armrest panel (A).

Using a screwdriver or remover and remove the rear seat shield outer cover (A).

Using a screwdriver or remover and remove the rear center seat belt cover (A).

11.
Loosen the rear center seat belt bolt (A).
Tightening torque :
44.1 - 58.8 N.m (4.5 - 6.0 kgf.m , 32.5 - 43.4 lb-ft)

Using a remover and remove the child anchor cover (A).

Remove the rear seat lower protector (A).

Press the lock pin and separate the seat heater connector (A).

Press the hooks and remove the headrest guide (A).

Remove the rear seat back cover assembly (A) from the rear seat frame.

After removing the Velcro tape (A) and hog-ring clips (B) inside the rear seat back cover, remove the rear seat back cover (C).

To install, reverse removal procedure.

Replace any damaged clips.

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to protect from marring the surface.
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

Remove the second row seat assembly [RH].
(Refer to Rear Seat - "Rear Seat Assembly")
2.
Push the lock pin (B), remove the rear seat headrest (A).

Remove the rear seat lower protector (A).

Loosen the mounting screw and remove the rear seat shield inner cover (A).

Press the lock pin and separate the connector (A).

Using a screwdriver or remover and remove the rear seat shield outer cover (A).

Using a remover and remove the child anchor cover (A).

Remove the rear seat back lower protector (A).

Press the lock pin and separate the heater connector (A).

Using a screwdriver or remover and remove the rear seat back cover (A).

Press the hooks and remove the headrest guide (A).

Using a remover and remove the rear seat back folding swich (A).

Press the lock pin and separate the rear seat back folding swich connector (A).

Remove the rear seat back cover assembly (A) from the rear seat frame.

15.
After removing the Velcro tape (A) and hog-ring clips (B) inside the rear seat back cover, remove the rear seat back cover (C).

16.
Install in the reverse order of removal.

[Third-row seat assembly]

Remove the third-row seat assembly
(Refer to Rear Seat - "Rear Seat Assembly")
2.
Loosen the mounting bolts, nuts and remove the third-row seat assembly main frame (A).

Press the lock pin and separate the third-row seat [RH] mounting connectors (A).

Loosen the mounting bolts and remove the third-row seat cushion frame (A).

Push the button (A) and remove the third-row seat headrest (B).

Using a remover and remove the child anchor cover (A) and shopping back hook (B).

7.
Remove the third-row seat back cover lower hog-ring (A).

8.
Using a flat-tip screwdriver and remove the third-row seat back cover lower protector (A).

Open the third-row seat back cover side zipper (A).

Using a remover and remove the headrest cover (A).

Push the lock pin and remove the headrest guide (A).

Remove the velcro tape (A) and hog-ring clips (B) inside the rear seat back cover and remove the third-row seat back cover (C).

To install, reverse removal procedure.

Tighten the cover (C) evenly before assembling the hog ring clip (B) to prevent wrinkling of the cover.

    Driver's seat belt warning

    As a reminder to the driver, the seat belt warning light will illuminate for approximately 6 seconds each time you place the ignition switch to the ON position regardless of belt fastening. At this time, if the seat belt is not fastened a warning chime will sound for 6 seconds.
